Institute for Urbanism of RS, j.s.c Banjaluka was awarded at 17th  International Exhibition of Urban Planning with the Second prize of the Exhibition for Spatial plan of Istocno Sarajevo until 2015 year within the category of Spatial plans and with Second prize in category of Application of informatics technology for the work: Application of GIS in urban planning based on the following examples: preparation of informative – documentary base for Urban development plan of Banjaluka for the period 2008 – 2020 and the Pilot project of Zoning plan for central area of Banjaluka.
Premiere exhibit of the Exhibition was officially opened on 8th of November in the building of the Bijeljina municipality.
This Exhibition was organized and realized by the Association of Urban planners of Serbia.  The exhibition of urban planning is traditional annual manifestation organized by the Association of Urban planners of Serbia,  which presents the review of the most significant achievements within the fields of spatial and urban planning, urban planning designs, and  their realization.

Overall or only some exhibits from this Exhibition will be presented in patron’s towns and other towns in country and abroad.
